In America, a Lithuanian immigrant and Boston resident Ann
Wigmore promoted wheat-grass as part of a healthy diet. She named the process
as "Wheat-grass Diet" - a type of vegetarian diet which is heavily
based on the treating properties of wheat-grass. Wigmore died in 1993, but she
left an existing healthy wheat-grass diet plan and wheat-grass info book that
